Terms and Conditions of Sale
To request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number, please email info@sonovision.us
Return Policy
All products returned must have a valid RMA (Return Material Authorization) number specific to the purpose of return.
Products which were shipped by SonoVision 30 or more days prior to the return date are not valid for return unless under warranty consideration.
Restock Policy
SonoVision allows the restocking of used/refurbished/pre-owned products within a 30-day period from date of shipment. New/Sealed products must be returned within 15 days to be eligible.
All restocks require a valid RMA number and must be requested prior to returning the product.
Restocks are not accepted if the serial number has been altered or removed from the product.
If returns for restock meet the conditions above, the following restock fee will apply:
- New/Sealed - if opened: 50%, if sealed: 25%
- Used/Pre-owned/Refurbished: 20%
- After 30 Days: No credit and product(s) will be sent back to customer
Exchange Policy
Exchange products are identified at the time of sale and noted on all invoices.
All exchanges require a valid RMA number. RMA numbers, valid for exchange only, will be issued at the time of sale.
An “Exact/Comparable and Repairable*” product must be received by SonoVision within 15 days of the original shipment date. If an exchange is not received within 15 days an email will be sent notifying “Additional Billing”.
Additional Billing - Failure to return an exchange within 60 days from the original date of shipment will result in a core fee and the cancellation of the exchange RMA. The additional bill will be calculated as the difference between the outright and the exchange prices, or at SonoVision’s discretion.
Additional Billing Credit – In some instances a credit will be issued if SonoVision is contacted when an exchange becomes available.
If the exchange received is not an “Exact/Comparable and Repairable*" product, the customer will be billed the core fee. The original product received may be returned at the customer's request and expense, or it will become the property of SonoVision.
- * Something is considered repairable if a component or components critical to the operation of the product can be replaced or refurbished to restore proper operation. In the case of circuit boards, any catastrophic damage due to electrical arcing in the circuitry will be automatically deemed unrepairable and a core fee will be assessed unless a repairable exchange is provided.
Warranty Policy
SonoVision warrants its products against any defects or malfunctions for 90 days unless otherwise specified at the time of sale.
All warranty claims require a valid warranty RMA number, valid for warranty only, to be requested within the warranty period stated at the time of sale.
All warranty products returned without an RMA number will be processed as an exchange and no credit will be issued.
In order to expedite your claim and confirm the failure of the product, please note that you may be required to speak to a technical engineer prior to receiving a replacement.
All warranty products must be returned to SonoVision within 15 days of the warranty claim.
The warranty is void if the serial number has been altered or removed from the product.
All warranty claims will undergo a technical review validation upon receipt. Credit will only be issued on valid and approved warranty claims.
If the failure of the product is a result of accident, abuse, misapplication, or natural disasters, SonoVision shall have no responsibility under this warranty policy.
Limited Warranty
SonoVision warrants that the products(unless otherwise specified) will meet manufacturer specifications during the applicable warranty period defined above.
